This dataset records all the sites with archaeological or epigraphic evidence for violence on Crete or violence enacted by Cretans in the Archaic and Classical periods (c. 700-400 BCE). It derives from Jesse Obert's PhD dissertation, in which he quantifies and visualizes all the evidence and includes a full bibliography.
